There are tortoises(or probably just turtles since they're in a pond after all) basking in the sun on sunny days. I've never been here in winter, but where do they keep them in winter? Or do they have heaters somewhere? There were carps in the pond in my university back in the days, and the university staff always put the carps in aquariums during the winter. I wonder if they do that at Shinjuku Park too.
