Horizon Japan International school HJIS has two branches. One in Yokohama and the other one is here in Sendai. This branch has an Early Learning Center ELC which has classes for ages 3~5. The primary school is an English emerging school where your child can learn English while having mandatory Japanese education. It provides distinctive international education. Great teachers, great facilities and strong academic program. The school implemented Early Years Foundations program EYFS blended with local expectations. And it is getting ready for becoming a PYP school. The ELC section has big and colorful classrooms, a playground, and a big playroom besides all the other basic facilities. There are two teachers in each classroom where the maximum number of students is only 24. My child has been attending the Kinder class and very happy to be here. You will certainly see how the teachers love the students and treat like their own child. Definitely recommended. ps: there is a staff who is arranging all these amazing flowers around the school.
