I first visited Simien hotel owned by Ato Melesse Chipsa a native of Wolkite in Guraghe region in 1988. His son Tamiru Melese was an Engineering student at AAU fifth kilo campus and his daughter Helen Melese is a lawyer worked in Ethiopian Airlines. His another daughter Tsehereda Melese has been and excellent girl. He has another younger son also. A great family. Besides the hotel in Bahirdar Highway close to Italian cultural center he used to have a laundry and pharmacy in Merkato. He was the erstwhile owner of West Hotel near Gojjam Beranda. He has indeed been a great and hard working man. Of all the hotels I visited and stayed including RAS, Ethiopia and Awraris (Titu) hotels , which are also great hotels, I have a special affinity to this hotel. Excellent hotel with the great Ethiopian hospitality.

Don't go there!! bedrooms are old and nasty,my bed make a lot of noise .gym is funny,can't even use some machine if you over 90 kg no weights basically no gym. If you looking for gym and bed don't go there.

Semira Hotel is located in the uptown of addis where the area also Claude after the hotel Semien hotel area. It has it’s own parking which is difficult to access a parking other similar hotels.Service is nice but needs improvement bed rooms are quite,wide and clean.

The room service reaction time is 30mins!!! Please don't book a room here, and the whole 1st floor is for party, wedding, so it's so noisy at night until 11:20pm!!! And not good music at all!! All "bump bump bump "

Perfect place for vegan. We loved the service the servers where really really nice and the food was amazing. Thank you so much Semein hotel.

Clean room friendly environment , good food and the most important center for everything whatever you do in the city ride available in a miute,.

Very slow service, not impressed at all. When you order a food it takes two hours to come to you. Disappointing indeed.

The place found in mount place and the air is little cool plus good service with old model hotel look.
